Jackie Danziger, Co-Director

Jackie is a graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts where she studied with the Atlantic Theater Company. She has directed shows with various theater companies in New York, including Atlantic, and E.B.E Ensemble. Each spring she proudly teaches with the Future Filmmakers Workshop at NYU. Jackie is absolutely thrilled to be a founding member of Sharkmother. She has been working towards this company for many years, and is delighted to join Reed in creating new and exciting works of art. Jackie is a native of Philadelphia and currently lives in Park Slope, Brooklyn. She likes the color orange and old things.

Reed Whitney, Co-Director

Reed, a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, has primarily worked in theater but has experience in dance, film, music and visual art.  With SharkMother, Reed has served as event producer, theatre director, art gallery curator, dancer and actor.  He is excited to see SharkMother expand and develop as they continue to experiment with artistic genres and processes. 

Katie French, Co-Founder

Katie is also an NYU Tisch School of the Arts graduate and met Jackie and Reed while st udying at the Atlantic Theater Company.  She was delighted to help found SharkMother in the summer of 2009 and explore producing different mediums of art.  She currently lives in Silver Lake, Los Angeles.
